Prior to creating these comprehensive guides and luxury hard-cover books, I have been a Wall Street attorney, business advisor, representative and agent to athletes and authors, college adjunct professor, and sports activist — I pitched in the Dominican League in New York, and still play competitive tennis. A founder of the Harlem Junior Tennis Program in 1985 (aided by three-time tennis Grand Slam champion Arthur Ashe and NYC Mayor David Dinkins), I was a member of the board of the New York City Junior Tennis League.

For seven years I was an Adjunct Professor at Manhattanville College (Purchase, NY), teaching a weekly course/seminar on consumer law for the non-lawyer (“A Practical Approach to Business Law”).

In 2020 I was appointed Adjunct Professor (Creative Writing and Communications) at Charter Oak State College, Connecticut’s only accredited, adult-education, online university. I published a course book, The Art & Joy of Communication, in Spring 2023.

For two years I have aided in establishing C&D Ventures, centered in Puebla, Mexico, to assist the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Mexican Departments of Commerce and Agriculture (State of Hidalgo) to expand exports for local farmers, growers, producers, and manufacturers to encourage them to expand their businesses globally.

During the past 20 years I have reviewed luxury hotels, resorts, and golf courses around the world, producing nearly 50 publications across the US – from Florida to Michigan to Arizona to Hawaii – as well as the Caribbean and Asia.
